I've been going CRAZY on iTunes. You know-- getting all the songs I always wanted but was never willing to lay down the money for the albums. Classics and crap, mostly.
I just bought 30 songs for twenty dollars on eBay . . . and they're almost gone already. I would've spent them already if not for my promise to myself not to spend more than $15 a month on songs (my equivalent of buying a CD).
Songs I bought tonight (and don't you dare laugh about any of them because you like some lame music too):
1.) "Queen Bitch" - David Bowie
2.) "I Can't Make You Love Me" - Bonnie Raitt
3.) "Layla" (original) - Eric Clapton
4.) "Love Is a Battlefield" - Pat Benatar
5.) "Tainted Love" - Soft Cell
6.) "Kiss Off" - The Violent Femmes (I only have the live version on CD)
7.) "Spellbound" - Siouxsie and the Banshees
8.) "Wonderwall" - Oasis
9.) "Superstar" - The Carpenters (mostly for the Tommy Boy scene . . . I want to do that in my car sooooo bad)
10. "Edge of Seventeen" - Stevie Nicks
11. "Joga" - Bjork (I have too many Bjork albums, but none of them are Homogenic)
Okay fine, I guess you can laugh. I would if I saw this list.
But COME ON, who doesn't love Karen Carpenter?
+++++
On a side note, Aaron's up reading the new Harry Potter. I've already finished it, so I'm just dying for him to finish so we can talk and be nerdy.
